Your support keeps Thursday nights running.
ISA is funded mostly through university grants applied for event by event. That funding is irregular, and it is often the only thing holding programs back. Gifts from alumni, families, and community members fill the gap.
For now, online gifts go through the Venmo of Mahdi Rizk, ISA's advisor, and are passed directly to ISA. This is a temporary arrangement while we set up a permanent way to give once or monthly.
What your support enables
Religious programming
Dua Kumayl, Dua Tawassul, discussion, and the equipment that runs them every week.
Guest speakers and dinner
Honoraria and food for lecture nights open to the whole campus.
Books and materials
Physical copies for Book Club and resources that currently sit behind paywalls.
Iftars and lectures
Catered community iftars and Laylatul Qadr programs, our largest expense of the year.
A one-time gift
Any amount goes where it is most needed, based on the academic and Islamic calendars.
DonateSustain a semester
Consistent monthly support lets the board plan speakers and iftars ahead of time instead of grant by grant.
Set up monthlyOrganizations and mosques
We welcome partnerships with community institutions and can share a written summary of programming and expenses with regular supporters.
